Following the expiry of contract of the Director General, Ms. Martha Chizuma, the
Deputy Director General Mr. Hillary Chilomba is now Acting Director General. This is in
accordance with Section 6 of the Corrupt Practices Act as amended in 2019.
The ACB appreciates and values the great work and commitment shown by the former
Director General Ms. Martha Chizuma in leading Malawians in the fight against
corruption.
The ACB is assuring all stakeholders that all its operations are continuing. We therefore
request all the stakeholders to give the Acting Director General all the necessary
support.
Let us continue working together to create a corruption-free Malawi.
