DATE: 19th January, 2026.
Further to our Press Release issued on January, 17, 2026, on the above subject matter,
the Bureau has today, January, 19, 2026 arrested the following two additional
individuals:
(a) Dr. Chisomo Kumbuyo, Director of Irrigation Operations at GBA and
(b) Stanley Bakolo, Managing Director of PLMB Engineering Investment.
With these arrests, the total number of arrested individuals stands at eight. Three
more people comprising two GBA officials and one Contractor remain at large. The
Bureau advises these individuals to surrender themselves to the Bureau as a matter
of urgency, to allow the due process of the law to take its course.
