1. Further to our Press Release issued on January 17, 2026, on the above subject matter, the Bureau wishes to inform the public that it has executed all 11 warrants of arrest obtained during the first round of arrests in this matter. The suspects arrested during this time are as follows:

iii. Linda Phiri – Director of Finance and Investments
iv. Masautso Kamowa – Procurement and Assets Disposal Manager
v. Synoden Kautsi – Infrastructure Development Manager
vi. Chester Chikwere – Irrigation Engineer
Contractors
i. Innocent Kawinuwinu, Managing Director – Kabiki & Partners Engineering Services
ii. Stanley Bakolo, Managing Director – PLMB Engineering Investment
iii. Victor Chabwera – Managing Director of PLMB Engineering Investment
iv. Ephrone Mwenitete – Managing Director-EMD Consulting Engineers
v. Kenneth Khonje – Managing Director-Einstein Construction Limited
2. The arrested suspects have been formally charged with various offences under the Corrupt Practices Act and the Penal Code. They have been released on bail, with the earliest trial scheduled for February 27, 2026. In addition to the prosecutions, the Bureau will commence civil asset forfeiture proceedings for various properties belonging to the defendants, suspected to be proceeds of crime.
3. The Bureau further informs the public that it will soon obtain more arrest warrants for the remaining suspects in the matter.
